My experience with the Antiquarian: at first I thought she was totally useless (and so did my friend), it's only upon checking the wiki that I realized why she was there. Specifically, a master of 'ambient effect', someone who helps or hinders just by being around. If her heal was turned into a party aoe (without changing the hp amounts), and turning her blight attack into an aoe (while cutting it's damage output by perhaps half), she'd make for a much more useful and interesting character. Not to mention dodging is notoriously unreliable.

Seriously, 1 hp for a SINGLE target? Her +Dodge skill is pretty much her only saving grace, but it takes three turns to ramp up to full, and then she's stuck maintaing it for the rest of the battle. Protect Me is interesting, but only serves to highlight her role as dead weight. Her attacks are only good at chipping away at single enemies (or finishing nearly-dead ones). What is a problem is not having useful characters to bring along on a trip. I can always make more runs for money, that's never been a problem for me. She's pretty much dead weight otherwise.Which makes her seriously underpowered in my eyes. As far as I can tell, money is her one and only value to a team.
